The living room of this residence was conceived as the heart of the house, planned in parallel with the architecture rather than as a later interior intervention. From the earliest stages, the space was designed to carry the rhythm, proportion, and material language of the home as a whole.
Ceiling heights, spatial proportions, and window placements were resolved during architectural planning to ensure natural light defines the room throughout the day. This allowed the living area to feel open and composed, balancing scale with comfort without depending on excess ornamentation.
The interior design follows a restrained, timeless palette. A deep green sofa anchors the space, while curved lounge seating softens movement and encourages informal interaction. The layered marble coffee table introduces material depth and tactility, acting as a quiet focal point within the seating arrangement. Vertical wooden panelling was integrated into the architectural wall treatment to bring warmth, rhythm, and a subtle sense of height.
Lighting, furniture placement, and finishes were coordinated as part of the execution process, not added post-completion. This ensured visual continuity and spatial clarity from every angle. Designing and building the home under one roof allowed the living room to emerge as a cohesive, well-resolved space—architectural in intent, refined in detail, and designed for long-term living.
